On 12th of December 2009, I managed to spam all my 110 x Adelina Booty Searches which gotten from the 'Fight For the Star' PVP event that was held on 24th November 2009. As usual, no prized item was gotten, but a bunch of unneeded stuffs like Hermes potions, Teleport scroll, EXP cards and others, fulfilled all the spaces in my inventory. Anyway, I did not felt disappointed with this game's result, maybe I have get used to it, seen before plenty of players' post that voiced out their unsatisfied-with-the-end-result endlessly. However, there was something that caught my eyes, an consumable item, that was Pandora Crystal! I had gotten about 7 of it. Out of curiosity, I had finally give a try to use that beautiful looking crystal on 12th December 2009, 3.34 PM. First crystal used, nothing happened, I was like ''Hey what! Yet another rubbish loot?!'' On my second try, a cute mini Gerelo was summoned! Hey Gerero, here's your brother! Its level 200, has Attack and Defend Rating of 102, sounds cool ya? But anyway, its Attack is zero, which means it cannot attack! Summon a last-10-minutes-long Gerelo which for display purpose, so that's the use of the Pandora Crystal.

Hrin's Treasure Book

On 5th of September 2009, 9PM, I had bought a Hrin's Treasure Book from the Cash shop which costs me 11k g-points. I had always wonder whats the loot that I will get from this 11k gpoints worth book. Finally, I could not resist and I say goodbye to my 11k g-points. In order to use this book, you will need to find the Treasure Hunter who is located in City of Auch. You will receive a quest and got teleported to a room which similar to the one which filled with plenty of monsters that hugged their treasure chests tightly. There are only 2 types of monsters available inside the room, that are Hrin's Treasure Maiden and Maiden, which looks similar to the Iron Maiden that can be found in the Prison of Joaquin. All you need to do is to kill 10 Hrin's Treasure Maiden and click the Treasure Hunter to get you back to the city. There's nothing worth for you to stay inside as you will get no experience from killing those Level1 Maidens and its just a waste of time for you to camp. I had finally received my first Hrin's Treasure Box from the Treasure Hunter at 9.09 PM. I had did some homework regarding the loots for the treasure box. A confirmed loot is 10 Growth Stones which worth 1m Fesos. There is also a small chance of dropping some bonus loots such as Hermes Potion and symbols like Leo, Aquarius, Sagittarius and so on... Without wasting time, I opened the box to try my luck in getting symbols. Well, all I received was just the 10 Growth Stones and no bonus loot.

Brown Ox and White Cow

On 18th June 2009, there was an update for the 'Adelina Booty Search' flash game, that was 'Magic & Stars'. Just like the previous updates of this flash game, new fancy and shiny weapons and equipments were added as the new prized loots. Here are some of the highlights of the new stuffs : new summer costumes, 1 year duration back costumes, weapons and some unique costumes. There are 3 summer costumes added, which exclusively for stock wizards (Female) and stock elementalist (Male & Female). Sylph Wings and Fairy Wings are the back costumes that I mentioned earlier which have time duration of 365 days (1 year). There are 2 new Level92 and 30AR weapons added - Toy Hammer (blunt) and Elite Magic Broom (rod). Traditional Korean Costumes can be also gotten from this flash game. However, these costumes are only available to female elementalist, male fighter, male musketeer and male scout. Last but not least, there are also 2 new costumes that are definitely worth mentioning of : Brown Ox costume and White Cow costume! Hurray for the new animal-based-as-theme costumes! Brown Ox costume is exclusively for male stock character while White Cow costume can only be wore by female stock character. On 30th August 2009, I managed to bought both of these cute-looking-costumes for a very cheap price. I shall let the screenshots below do the talks.

The Forgotten Magic

The Forgotten Magic - a Lord-of-Elemental-bracelet-required stance, can be also known as the second mental-attack-based stance for Elementalist job, as a replacement for Hellena in using Lord of Elemental bracelet, where Elementalist get Lord of Elemental stance, while she get The Forgotten Magic instead. The dark side of this stance is that you need to spend 600k Fesos to buy the stance book from the Fesos Merchant. Not to forget this stance has a hidden minus 5% movement speed penalty which did not stated out in the stance (thanks to some forumers who noticed about this). My Hellena had learned this stance on 28th August 2009, 8.48 PM. This stance has a total of 5 skills, that are Frozen Ball (Freezing Sphere alike skill), Fire Storm (mini version of Meteor Strike), Lightning Spear (shorter skill animation version of Thunder Storm), Cyclone (a brand new skill animation with a large AoE but has the lowest damage output among the 5 skills, can also cause Confusion) and the last skill, Aqua Pierce (similar to Absolute Zero but it fires water instead of ice cubes). Although this stance has a total of 4 AoE skills but that does not mean that she works well in clearing monsters, as the highest number of monsters can be targeted is 6 and the mana consumption for every skills is quite high too (unless you spam potion).

Hrin & Lorenza's Birthday Bash

There was an event held on 26th August 2009, which named as 'Hrin & Lorenza's Birthday Bash'. Based on the event name, I guess the reason of holding this event is quite obvious. That's right, this month is the birthday season for Hrin and Lorenza (although I don't know the actual date of their birthday)! This event is about enhancing a sword that named 'Birthday Sword' which was given by the IAH-teams. Every family will receive the only one 'Birthday Sword' and mules will not receive any Birthday Sword. These birthday swords were inserted into the Adelina Booty Search loot, which means players ought to claim their swords from the Adelina Booty Search. The Birthday Sword is a level100 sword that has 30 AR, 1 attack and can only be used by fighters. It cannot be traded nor chipped. The higher the enhancement of the sword, the better the reward that you will get. Enhancement booster and Imperviums are discounted up to 30% too during the event was held. Once the sword is broke, it will forever gone and non-refundable. The discount is indeed money-saving for those who aimed to get +6 and above Birthday Sword. This event will end on 24th September 2009. I had claimed mine on 27th August 2009, at 7.02 PM and I managed to enhance it to +5 without the help of enhancement booster on the next day. Oh yeah, 500 pet foods for free! I had seen quite a lot of player trying to enhance their swords +8. Of course, the word 'failed' will often appeared on the system tab. That's what you get for your greediness, I guess. Below is the simple table of enhancement of the sword needed and the reward that you will receive.

Hellena the Elemental Enchantress

Hellena, can be known as the strongest magic character as her initial INT outstands all the magic characters available in the outside world, that is 89. On the other hand, she is the lowest HP magic character, that is 32, meaning to say that she is more vulnerable compared to Elementalist. She can be also said as the second version of Elementalist as she possesses all 3 elements stances (Ice, Fire, Lightning), just that she receive 'The Forgotten Magic' stance to replace Elementalist's Lord of Element stance, while her personal skill is 'Summon Frost' (Joker, the one looks like a clown holding a big scythe). Ania and Emilia(The Sage) will be needed in order to recruit her and the Arsene Circus quest need to be completed too. The most headache part is, you will need to sacrifice 30m to get 3 Elemental Jewel to complete the last part of the quest. After that, its up to you to decide whether to choose to recruit her (get her card) or get Combat Manual 15 days (originally it should be Dragon Heart Recipe >.>). I had received mine at 11.15AM, on 22th October 2009 and earned 30m by selling off my 10 tranquiliser, 1 red ore and 22 pure otite. I managed to train her to level100 at 8.43PM on 28th October 2009.

The Masquerade - The Arsene Circus Troupe

On 19th June 2009(Friday), Singapore Granado Espada had just updated from version3.2 The Defence of Zeia to version3.4 The Masquerade. I had been inactive for the past 3 months as I've been busy with my study. But now, I have the chance to complete the version 3.4 main quest - The Arsene Circus Troupe mission. The quest will auto-start after you entered City of Auch, if only you had talked to Queen Hamaan in Zeia by using Emilia Guliano or Emilia The Sage. After talked to Simon Ayenda, followed up by Calyce and lastly, the Burgundy Palace Guard, you now can enter the Chateau de Bourgogne, the hideout for the Arsene Circus Troupe. Players can only bring one character to enter this raid mission. There are 2 floors in this mission where first floor filled with 4 mini bosses, but you can just kill any two of them and you can proceed to 2nd floor for the final boss, Louis Arsene III. I had used my Elementalist but got killed by Celine after defeated Frost and Emily. Thanks for her high physical attack, which dealt my Elementalist around 1k damage, I had learned not to 'touch' her on my second attempt by using Grace Berneli on 21th Auguest 2009. Mario and Emily are the most easiest boss to finish off, at least for my Grace. After successfully entered second floor, I had used the 'Invisible' tactic to kill Louis Arsene III by drinking invisible potion and non-stop attacking him. Although he had summoned a bunch of mini bosses, Emily, Frost, Celine, Mario and Hellena, but he still got defeated by me after using 12 invisible potion, without left any spare invisible potion. Thank god I had defeated him after used the last invisible potion. I had used around 20 minutes to complete this quest, starting from 11.20 pm to 11.43pm. Aiks, I had forgot to take some of the mini bosses' stat and picture (Celine and Hellena).

Trump Series - El Mago

In version 3.4 The Masquerade, there are a set of newly added weapons which known as the 'Trump Series'. These set of weapons can be categorized as 'unique' as it cannot be chipped but it comes with the following fixed stats, that are 30% attack, 30% attack speed and 1 Attack Rating. The best equipment in the Trump Series is the La Templanza aka Trump Shield, with fixed stats of 10 defend, 30 block and 1 Defend Rating. Singapore Granado Espada players are lucky enough to have these great weapons as this is only server where trump weapons receive extra 10% attack speed, unlike other servers have only 20% attack speed. These weapons works great especially for AFKing purpose due the 30% attack speed stat. In order to these weapons, you need to have green,red or blue Arsene Ticket where you can get the recipi for these tickets from the raid mission 'Chateau de Bourgogne' by defeating those mini bosses. You can exchange the ticket with machine which situated in the Reboldoeux Queen’s Gate by just throwing the ticket into the machine.
Red ticket is used to exchange melee type weapons, Green ticket for magic weapons while Blue ticket for range weapons. I had bought one Green ticket recipe from the Market Manager for 4m on 3th of July 2009. I had exchanged the green ticket for El Mago, the Trump Series staff at 11.36pm.

I finally gotten Ania's card on 20th June 2009, at 11.37 PM. Ania's recruiting quest can be said as short, which not really that time consuming compared to Selva's. However, it will take quite a long time to complete the quest if you're using not-that-great equipments, like me, took over an hour of time as my characters died over and over again. Anyway, I managed to complete that 'equipments-talk' quest on my third tries. This quest is quite similar to Arsene Circus Group main quest, just that you can bring in 3 characters and you will receive some 'assistance' from Nar and Ania throughout the quest, but that doesn't mean that you can let them become your 'meat shield'. Both of them aren't that strong and you ought to protect them from being 'kissing the floor'. The time duration for this quest is 1 hour. The main task is to kill Louise Arsene III. I experienced bad time of battling him as there was some skill animation bug for him. None of his skills have skill animations which made the matter worst. I got no idea whats the AoE of his skills, all I know was right after he done in casting spells, my characters straight R.I.P. That's how I got pawned off by him in my first attempt. On my second try, to my shock, his followers will pop up one by one when I'm in full-force in 'dropping his HP'. Celine, the highest damage dealer among the followers, succeed in 'scratching' Ania until she got K.O-ed. That's how I got ended on my second try, oh my god! Right after spending some in searching for solution to complete that headache quest, I managed to complete that quest without being annoyed by his clowns , bodyguards and slaves. What I did was I lured him out of his room and let the battle start in the corridor (thanks to the forumer for his/her wonderful solution). At last, I managed to finish him up, with the help of my Grace, Emilia and Jaina, even though it took quite some time as I got no strong weapons. After going through some long conversation between him and Ania, the quest came to an end right after you claimed Ania's card from Ania. Overall, she can be said a good RNPC with her 6 STR, 8 AGI, 6 DEX, 6 HP, 3 INT and 3 CHA. She is the second character that can use dual blunt weapon and the only character that can use tonfa along with her exclusive expert - Gorgeous (dual tonfa stance). She successfully leveled up til level100 on 13th December 2009, at 10.15 AM and she got promoted to veteran on 16th December 2009, 3.15 PM.

Event Mission : Gold

In the version 3.2 Defense of the Zeia Expansion, there is one special feature which added more entertainment to us, Granado Espada players, instead of raiding boss everyday, AFK for the day or waiting the gate for Battle Colosseum, Poison Yard and Secret Temple until got 'rusted'. The feature that I meant is the 'Daily Event Missions'. Starting from 2 PM onwards, there will have an auto-generated event held where all players can participate in. Event Statues were added in outside of City of Auch, The Port of Coimbra and City De Reboldeux. Players can create their own room (with or without password) and others players can join the room, which is quite similar to the game-starting part of the Highway, Trinity, Spotlight and Intercharge Mission. There are a total of 8 mission per day, which are 'Joaquin Barrier' starting at 2PM, 'Gold' at 4PM, 'Team Arena' (MCC3) at 8PM, 'Invasion' at 10PM, 'Team Arena' (MCC1) at 11PM, 'Occupation' at 12 AM and lastly, 'Joaquin Barrier' at 2 AM. Different missions have different task and rewards. The hottest missions are both Team Arena (MCC1 & MCC3) as players can get many 'luxuries' such as symbols and Le Noir recipes which makes all the vis-hungry players to get crazy about it. On 11th April 2009, I managed to spare out some time to participate in the mission 'Gold' at 4PM. Of course, there was filled with all other players who just like me, wanna have some fun instead of grinding all their ways to be 'god'. I anyhow joined a room and eventually, everyone in the room shouted ''GAME START!!''. Seems like everyone is so anxious to add some color in their gaming experience (count me in!). Once the missions started, naturally, everyone buffed up their characters and let the game start!. We had divided into 2 groups, one was to defend our colony while the another group was to break the enemy's colony. I got no choice but to defend our colony due to my noob equipments. Waves of monsters were came to attack our colony endlessly. This was my first time of seeing a Swamp Merman Eater which was hard to be spotted in the outside world of Granado Espada! Of course, all of us tried our best to slain that huge dinosaur as it was the only boss that drop symbol of Capricorn for Arnis, expert dagger stance. Just one bite and all my characters died (as I expected). Resuscitating the died characters, that's the only thing that I can do. At the end, our colony destroyed and the dinosaur was still alive and kicking. All of us eventually got warped out to town as the missions failed. Overall, this mission is quite fun and need the spirit of teamwork too, in order to complete this tough-yet-fun mission. I will have my second try if only I have free time again.
