The Masquerade - The Arsene Circus Troupe

On 19th June 2009(Friday), Singapore Granado Espada had just updated from version3.2 The Defence of Zeia to version3.4 The Masquerade. I had been inactive for the past 3 months as I've been busy with my study. But now, I have the chance to complete the version 3.4 main quest - The Arsene Circus Troupe mission. The quest will auto-start after you entered City of Auch, if only you had talked to Queen Hamaan in Zeia by using Emilia Guliano or Emilia The Sage. After talked to Simon Ayenda, followed up by Calyce and lastly, the Burgundy Palace Guard, you now can enter the Chateau de Bourgogne, the hideout for the Arsene Circus Troupe. Players can only bring one character to enter this raid mission. There are 2 floors in this mission where first floor filled with 4 mini bosses, but you can just kill any two of them and you can proceed to 2nd floor for the final boss, Louis Arsene III. I had used my Elementalist but got killed by Celine after defeated Frost and Emily. Thanks for her high physical attack, which dealt my Elementalist around 1k damage, I had learned not to 'touch' her on my second attempt by using Grace Berneli on 21th Auguest 2009. Mario and Emily are the most easiest boss to finish off, at least for my Grace. After successfully entered second floor, I had used the 'Invisible' tactic to kill Louis Arsene III by drinking invisible potion and non-stop attacking him. Although he had summoned a bunch of mini bosses, Emily, Frost, Celine, Mario and Hellena, but he still got defeated by me after using 12 invisible potion, without left any spare invisible potion. Thank god I had defeated him after used the last invisible potion. I had used around 20 minutes to complete this quest, starting from 11.20 pm to 11.43pm. Aiks, I had forgot to take some of the mini bosses' stat and picture (Celine and Hellena).

Trump Series - El Mago

In version 3.4 The Masquerade, there are a set of newly added weapons which known as the 'Trump Series'. These set of weapons can be categorized as 'unique' as it cannot be chipped but it comes with the following fixed stats, that are 30% attack, 30% attack speed and 1 Attack Rating. The best equipment in the Trump Series is the La Templanza aka Trump Shield, with fixed stats of 10 defend, 30 block and 1 Defend Rating. Singapore Granado Espada players are lucky enough to have these great weapons as this is only server where trump weapons receive extra 10% attack speed, unlike other servers have only 20% attack speed. These weapons works great especially for AFKing purpose due the 30% attack speed stat. In order to these weapons, you need to have green,red or blue Arsene Ticket where you can get the recipi for these tickets from the raid mission 'Chateau de Bourgogne' by defeating those mini bosses. You can exchange the ticket with machine which situated in the Reboldoeux Queen’s Gate by just throwing the ticket into the machine.
Red ticket is used to exchange melee type weapons, Green ticket for magic weapons while Blue ticket for range weapons. I had bought one Green ticket recipe from the Market Manager for 4m on 3th of July 2009. I had exchanged the green ticket for El Mago, the Trump Series staff at 11.36pm.

I finally gotten Ania's card on 20th June 2009, at 11.37 PM. Ania's recruiting quest can be said as short, which not really that time consuming compared to Selva's. However, it will take quite a long time to complete the quest if you're using not-that-great equipments, like me, took over an hour of time as my characters died over and over again. Anyway, I managed to complete that 'equipments-talk' quest on my third tries. This quest is quite similar to Arsene Circus Group main quest, just that you can bring in 3 characters and you will receive some 'assistance' from Nar and Ania throughout the quest, but that doesn't mean that you can let them become your 'meat shield'. Both of them aren't that strong and you ought to protect them from being 'kissing the floor'. The time duration for this quest is 1 hour. The main task is to kill Louise Arsene III. I experienced bad time of battling him as there was some skill animation bug for him. None of his skills have skill animations which made the matter worst. I got no idea whats the AoE of his skills, all I know was right after he done in casting spells, my characters straight R.I.P. That's how I got pawned off by him in my first attempt. On my second try, to my shock, his followers will pop up one by one when I'm in full-force in 'dropping his HP'. Celine, the highest damage dealer among the followers, succeed in 'scratching' Ania until she got K.O-ed. That's how I got ended on my second try, oh my god! Right after spending some in searching for solution to complete that headache quest, I managed to complete that quest without being annoyed by his clowns , bodyguards and slaves. What I did was I lured him out of his room and let the battle start in the corridor (thanks to the forumer for his/her wonderful solution). At last, I managed to finish him up, with the help of my Grace, Emilia and Jaina, even though it took quite some time as I got no strong weapons. After going through some long conversation between him and Ania, the quest came to an end right after you claimed Ania's card from Ania. Overall, she can be said a good RNPC with her 6 STR, 8 AGI, 6 DEX, 6 HP, 3 INT and 3 CHA. She is the second character that can use dual blunt weapon and the only character that can use tonfa along with her exclusive expert - Gorgeous (dual tonfa stance). She successfully leveled up til level100 on 13th December 2009, at 10.15 AM and she got promoted to veteran on 16th December 2009, 3.15 PM.
